Designed to aid in the tracking of your video collection, Video File allows you to keep all the information you need. Organize your tapes by Category, Director, or Stars. Build a database of your favorite movies where you can print a catalog for reference. Publish reports on the detailed information you enter in to the system. Use Paradox, Excel or any of your favorite database or reporting tools directly on your data "housed in an unencrypted Paradox 4.0 format", to create custom reports. You can even write your own programs using ODBC to access your data and customize your information the way you want. You setup your catagories and give the movies your own ratings to determine what you want to watch. A convenient counter field is also included for multiple movies on one tape. |
Enter and/or update your information through easy to use dialog boxes.The only required information is the name and type of the video, and you can create any type "or category" you wish. All other information is optional depending on what you want to know. You can add or delete Audience ratings to fit your collection, even to the point of keeping multiple databases in different subdirectories for different types of videos, and yes they will not show up on the other directories reports, for parental control or just plain privacy. |

Report On Your InformationYou can select from our available reports, or use external reporting tools to develop your own. We supply four different report that we create a complete catalog of your videos: The Video List, a listing of all of your videos organized by type. Video Details Lists all of the available information about any or all of your videos. Performers Report, Lists all of the performers and all of their works that have been entered into the system. Finally the Directors Report, which is a list of all of the directors in the system, and a list of each of their works. |
